Stephen William Hawking CH CBE FRS FRSA was an English theoretical physicist, cosmologist, author, and Director of Research at the Centre for Theoretical Cosmology within the University of Cambridge. The man who came up with the Hawking radiation. The man was a true genius here are a few amazing facts about Stephen Hawking.
The Safe Birthplace:
Hawking was one of the children who was born in a wartime. At the time Oxford was one of the safe havens for people and also was a safe place to give births. Hawking’s parents moved from North London to Oxford, England because it was the same time World War 2 was in action and Hawking’s parents didn’t want to take any chances with their family.

Hawking’s speech synthesizer has one of a kind voice as it is not produced by the company anymore. The machine had an American accent although he was British. More versions of voice were available but hawking refused to change the old one as it was a part of him according to him.

Stephen Hawking actually suffered from ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis). Yes, he did have a disease that actually put him in depression during early years when he was diagnosed with it.

In 2007 he took a Zero-G flight using the services provided by the zero gravity corp. He also performed acrobatics in the fight. The reason to do this was he believed that in the future. Due to global warming and nuclear warfare earth might not be habitable anymore and people would need to travel to other planets and colonize them in order to survive.

Hawking has made debut in many famous shows like The Simpsons in which an animated version of him was showcased which was voiced by him. He also made an in-person debut in The Big Bang Theory and Star Trek: Next Generation.
