Hugh Jackman

Hugh Jackman is an Australian actor, producer. Who is best known for his role as the clawed mutant Wolverine in the x-men franchise. Most of the world knows him for this particular role but he has starred in many other movies like Les Misérables and the latest one being The Greatest Showman which have been box office hits for this great personality. Jackman is known for his talented enough to work in multiple genres with making each one a masterpiece thanks to his acting skills.

Hugh Jackman as the Wolverine and the X-men franchise

Jackman’s career started with his first film x-men with him playing the role of Wolverine that was the first time everyone loved the performance Jackman put up for this movie and everyone has become a fan of logan since then. It was my favourite too, watching my childhood comic characters coming to the big screen it was really good. My favourite scene from the first one was Sabretooth and Wolverine going head to head for the first time. Jackman returned again to cut more enemies with the second movie X2: Xmen United. Xmen the last stand was one of the best ones from the franchise with every possible mutant showcased in this one including the Juggernaut it was a cake with the cherry on top the final scene was actually painful to watch since Logan had to kill Jean.

End of the Line

Jackman also got his very own solo movie Xmen Origins: Wolverine. Which explained a past of how Wolverine got his virtually indestructible Adamantium body. Ofcourse crossing out the possibility of using an adamantium bullet that is. This was not the last of his solo films with The Wolverine being the second one and Logan being his final movie playing the role of Wolverine. Jackman was also a part of Xmen: Apocalypse and Xmen: First class and last but not the least Xmen: Days of Future Past. In an interview with the Entertainment weekly he jokingly said “I know this doesn’t sound right coming from an Australian, but at some point, you’ve got to leave the party”

Other Movies

Hugh Jackman is also known for his roles in other multiple movies from different genres. Les Misérables is one of the movies where Jackman plays the role of a Jean Valjean. Who is a former prisoner trying to hold on to the new life he built. Actor Russell Crowe playing the role of a cop who is after him. The movie gave Jackman his very much deserving best actor golden globe award. Sadly he didn’t get the Oscar for the best actor award.

The Greatest Showman is the latest movie Jackman starred in it is also another musical like Les Misérables. Jackman also played the role of monster hunter Van Helsing in the movie Van Helsing. Hugh also starred as Leopold in the 2001 romantic comedy film Kate & Leopold, a role for which he received a Best Actor Golden Globe nomination. Prestige is also one of the movies you should watch considering if you are a true fan of the actor. Then again mainstream viewers will still recognize him for his role as Wolverine.
