How Bollywood is ruining our Indian
Bollywood has managed to take this quote to another level. Here is how it harms the society.
Obsession with looks and fairness
According to Bollywood, you can never achieve success in life if you do not meet their fairness standards. Bollywood is one of the major reasons for racism in our country. People think less of themselves, feel under-confident and even suffer from depression for the same.
A lot of credit should be given to Bollywood for making us realize that the only goal in a woman’s life is to find the ideal husband for which should be willing to sacrifice all her desires, ambitions etc just to make your alpha male elate.
I am not against star-kids but blocking an outsider and insulting people just because they don’t have a godfather in the industry is completely wrong.
Criminal portrayed as God
I mean we all know that how innocent our Bollywood actors could, be may it the driving scenario or illegal possession of weapons but still, thousands of people follow them blindly and take worshipping to another level.
Obsession with bodybuilding
According to Bollywood, a good body is all about 6 packs and 8 packs. Instead, people should aim at being fit. Know your body type and then try accordingly instead of indulging in steroids or other unhealthy practices like extreme dieting.
Wrong idea about Love
Bollywood has created an obsession of love among people. Also loving someone is more of a dancing in rain or at an estranged dessert.
Stupid people portrayed as heroes/ idols
Kareena Kapoor did an advertisement for Sony Vaio laptops whereas she is least aware of the specifications herself. People buy products just because a certain actor has endorsed it even though the actor necessarily don’t use the product himself/herself. We all are also aware of the stupid answer given by the Starkid Alia Bhatt. Which took the internet by storm.
